Drinking Beer for Charity

Ever wish you could drink* away the devastating oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico? Looks like you will be able to at the end of this month.

Abita is teaming up with the Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board to promote a "charitable" Pilsner called SOS (Save Our Shores). The beer will be available through retail and restaurant outlets at the end of July and .75 of every sale will be used to fund relief efforts for the fishermen and women as well as environmental groups which are working to clean up the Gulf. The beer is 22oz and 7% ABV, so make sure you are not driving after you help charity.
